Bound in bronze – a Roman bronze statuette of a barbarian prisoner

چکیده
The small statuette of a bound barbarian from Hungarian private collection is an interesting addition to the group these similar, although unusually harsh Roman representations their foes. Although without known findspot it further strengthens previous suppositions that were made and used for unknown purpose at limes, greatest concentration being in Carnuntum.
